A Startup Grind Cape Town session built around Mama Money, the South African fintech that handles cross-border money transfers and built its service around migrant workers sending money home to neighbouring countries. Startup Grind is a global entrepreneur community whose format centres on an on-stage conversation with a founder.
Cape Town Startup Week 2019 ran from 3 to 5 December 2019. The week was put together by Heavy Chef and Workshop17, with support from The Waterfront and Wesgro, and with Startup Grind Cape Town and Silicon Cape taking part in the programme.
